Dear 8th formers,
there are two stories for you to read and make use of:

one is "A virtual library"--that is for country study classes,

the other is on page ADVICE FROM A CATERPILLAR- it's a curious story for reading, analysing the grammar patterns and commenting in different ways, from different viewpoints.

To, 8th -  formers
There's a new story in the rubric COUNTRY STUDY--now we are going to speak about libraries in general, and the libraries of our city, in particular.
make use of the stuff.

Hi, everybody!

Take my  excuses, but this day I change the style and address my colleagues, not students.

Happy Tea's Day, let the work at school be rewarded with gifted students, gradual success, and let it never disappoint you, in no weather.
Stay hopeful, progressive, smart and beautiful.
Every drop of rain is a short message from the heaven, the sun rises every morning, promising a new day.
lots of love, NA

Dear friends,
take a glance at the flower! This sort is called ""Duchess of Edinburgh", but actually it has nothing to do with our new topic, it can just help You deal with Ur stress,
and the keys to Ur home task are following below:

to shake hands in disbelief          to clench fists angrily
to shrug shoulders indifferently               to stamp feet angrily
to tap fingers nerviously on the table        to fold arms and wait patiently
to blush in cheeks with embarrassment     to tremble in fear

lots of love, NA

International Translation Day is celebrated every year on 30 September on the feast of St. Jerome, the Bible translator who is considered the patron saint of translators. The celebrations have been promoted by FIT (theInternational Federation of Translators) ever since it was set up in 1953. In 1991 FIT launched the idea of an officially recognised International Translation Day to show solidarity of the worldwide translation community in an effort to promote the translation profession in different countries (not necessarily only in Christian ones). This is an opportunity to display pride in a profession that is becoming increasingly essential in the era of progressing globalisation

Dear friends, did you see what all of us would like to see once in a 18-year period, a really historic event in the Universe?

lunar eclipse (also known as a blood moon) occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earthinto its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the sun, Earth and moon are aligned  exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can occur only the night of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon's location relative to its orbital nodes.
Unlikesolar eclipse, which can be viewed only from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place, due to the smaller size of the Moon's shadow. Also unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses are safe to view without any eye protection or special precautions, as they are dimmer than the full moon.
