A spacesuit is really three suits worn at the same time. The inner suit is made of fabric woven of plastic tubes and nylon thread. Water pumped through these tubes cools the spacesuit.
The next layer is a pressure suit. This garment prevents the astronaut’s blood from boiling when there is no air pressure. Air inflates the suit like a balloon. Special joints help the astronaut move in this stiff suit.
The outer suit repels tiny bits of flying rock. These particles might damage the pressure suit. The outer suit also protects the astronaut during the extreme temperatures of lunar days and nights. 
Like a snail, an astronaut carries his or her home- in a spacesuit.

The day begins early  at the Zoo. At 5 A.M. even the birds are still asleep. But the  lights shine in the Bird House kitchen as a keeper starts his or her work. Many used feeding pans wait by the sink to be cleaned.Pans washed, the keeper starts to prepare the day’s food.  Apples, oranges, bananas, and kale wait for chopping. Cans of sweet potatoes and fruit are opened. Meat and fish are set out to defrost. By this time, birds are beginning to wake up. The keeper goes on with his  or her work as the sounds of the birds grow louder and louder.The keeper has to chop some apples into small pieces. Other apples are minced. Kale goes through the mincing machine. It comes out like ground parsley. Fish and meat are sliced.

See Raccoon Balance on Alligator at Florida's Ocala National Forest

At first glance, this photo may look like a raccoon balancing on a log in the water. But if you take a closer look, you'll see the raccoon is actually standing on the back of another animal -- an alligator.

Richard Jones snapped this unique photo Saturday at the Ocala National Forest in central Florida.

Jones told ABC affiliate WFTV in Orlando his son may have scared the raccoon, who then ran into the water and onto the gator.

Jones said he took the photo just in time -- the raccoon didn't stay on the gator for long.

"Without the context you'd think the raccoon was hitching a ride across the river. Pretty amazing," Jones said in an email to WFTV. "Definitely the photo of a lifetime."
